Introduction
ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the largest and fastest-growing international accountancy body, with over 350,000 students and members in 170 countries. ACCA has an extensive network of over 80 staffed offices and student support centres around the world. With statutory recognition in the UK and Ireland, it has the authority to license its members to work as registered auditors. In the UK, it also authorizes its members to undertake tax, forensic accountancy and insolvency work. Outside the UK, ACCA’s are recognized under the EU’s Mutual Recognition Directive and in many countries around the world.
ACCA offers four core qualifications
- A technical level qualification provides a comprehensive introduction to accountancy.
- A professional qualification enabling members to reach the highest level in accountancy (ACCA).
- A Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Accounting which is centered on the needs of employers for practical and professional accounting BSc (Hons).
- A Masters in Business Administration designed to broaden business understanding and enhance strategic decision making (MBA)
ACCA Professional Course
The ACCA Professional Scheme is a highly relevant targeted combination of study and practical experience. Graduate Entry Route
O/A-Levels, B.Com, BA, BSc from a recognized University
Access to ACCA via FD qualification
Complete the Diploma in Accounting and Business through the Foundation Diploma route, and you can continue your studies with the Certified Accounting Technician Qualification, or you can transfer onto the ACCA Qualification, miss out the first three exams and continue your studies from the fourth exam (F4 – Corporate and Business Law) onwards.
